Part of the stove tile
міні|Частина пічної кахлі, XVI ст. The stove tile was made of clay and decorated on the outside with green glaze. During archeological excavations in Tustan, many small particles were found, which then, like a puzzle, formed into a single fragment. The convex shape allowed to heat the air efficiently and quickly. Similar tiles were found in Lviv and in the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius. It dates back to the XVI century.
