Part of the stove tile, XVI century

The stove tile was made of clay and decorated on the outside with green glaze. During archaeological excavations in Tustan, many small particles were found, which then, like a puzzle, formed into a single fragment. The convex shape allowed heating the air efficiently and quickly. Similar tiles were found in Lviv and in the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius. It dates back to the 16th century.
