Water supplies for soldiers: masonry with a four-meter tank

The weakest point of the fortress in the siege is the water supply. That is why Tustan builders solved this issue first of all.

The tank on the top of Kamin (60 m above the valley level) was built near the defence site. It was built from hewn blocks of sandstone on a 3.75 m high lime mortar. The outer side of the tank was additionally lined with smaller stones on the same mortar - the masonry above has been preserved and is still visible. There were additional water supplies for the highest level of the fortress.
