The house in Hlyboke is one of several dozen authentic Boyko houses of the late 19th and early 20th centuries that have survived in Urych.
The Reserve restored and adapted this house for the Cultural and Public Centre of the village and the Centre for Local History House in Hlyboke. Folk crafts workshops, as well as meetings of local residents with employees of the Reserve are held here. Since 2016, it has held a modern ethnographic exhibition Trash? The History of Urych in Items and Images. It was preceded by an expedition: museum employees toured every house in the village, collected old photos, household items, as well as talked to local residents, recorded their memories of the village’s social and cultural life, the activities of the UPA. All this is presented at the exhibition, where all the material is presented in a modern way with the use of multimedia tools. Such an exhibition is an attempt to decode the deep meaning hidden in these artefacts and find them a new purpose.
